Rev Mandy Rhodes
Rev Amanda (Mandy) Rhodes became the Pastor here in September 2019, after being the Associate Minister at Dorchester Baptist Church, Dorset. She has a passion for God’s word and sharing the love of God with people of all ages. She is married to Lee and they have two children, one at University in Cheltenham and one at college in Stratford Upon Avon. She likes cake.
Julian Shackleton joined the leadership team in 2019. He is actively involved in both community and church activities. He is a bit of a fitness fanatic and regularly visits his local gym and swimming pool. He and his wife have a love of the outdoors and enjoy fell walking in both the Snowdonia and Lake District national parks. He also very much enjoys spending time with his family including two young grandsons.
Chris Lingard moved to Stratford-Upon-Avon in 1983. She is married with two sons and three grandchildren. She came to Stratford Baptist Church in 1997 and joined the leadership team as a deacon in 2019. Chris worked with those with mental heath issues and learning difficulties for many years in Stratford-upon-Avon before retiring. Chris is involved with the pastoral work at the church. Her hobbies and interests are her grandchildren, her local WI and travel.
Randolph Hill joined the leadership team in 2019 as Church treasurer. He has been retired a number of years but was previously a chartered accountant working in industry. He and his wife, Tina, have been a part of the congregation at SBC for over 30 years. They have 2 children, James (Jim) and Marianne and 7 grandchildren who they enjoy spending time with. He has always been keen on sport and still plays at his local tennis club. He also enjoys walking and cycling to stay fit, reading and playing the violin with the local U3A orchestra.
