SALT
Rather than 'Study And Learn Together'
SALT for the next few months will become...
'Sit And Listen Together'.
Focusing on Scripture we are going to spend time in God's presence listening to him.

Thinking about...
Church Membership
Sunday 14th August
After the service there will be a new members workshop for anyone who would either like to become a member at SBC or who would like to have a better understanding of what membership means.
A sign-up sheet will be put up soon!

We had a special day meeting Toby, Pippa, Jakey, Ella and Millie as a church on 18th June. It was great to hear direct from then about who they are and talking about their life and work in Nepal. If you were unable to be there in person we have recorded what they said, so please ask and we can share details with you to listen to. The church was also given an artistic gift from Nepal. Please have a look at it on the noticeboard.
We received the below note from the family. Please remember them in your prayers as they spend time in the UK before travelling back to Nepal at the end of July.
"We enjoyed being with you very much indeed yesterday - what a special church. Thank you for your warm welcome and for all your encouragement to us. It was lovely to finally put faces to names."
A couple of questions were asked about finances and how we support them. Some of general giving to the church is allocated to mission support and this year we are giving £4,000 to BMS World Mission to help support the Vokuhl family in Nepal.

Julian & Anne will be away from Sunday 26th June to Friday 15th July.
Julian would appreciate not being contacted on any church issues whilst away.
In his absence, please speak to one of the Leadership team.
THOUGHT...
“The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us."
C.S. Lewis
